Top 10 Hit Songs – September 2009 Issue

Here is the September 2009 Issue of my monthly top ten hit songs.

1. Hatin’ on the Club – Rihanna

I first heard of this song when this was sung by my favorite local singers Toni Gonzaga, Karylle and Nikki Gil on their Sunday variety show ASAP. The girls is more popularly known as ASAP Dlite. Really nice song!

2.  You Belong with Me  – Taylor Swift

This is Swift’s second entry to the August 2009 hit songs issue. Why not? This song is so great that I keep on singing this even when going to bed. Woot!

3. Paparazzi – Lady Gaga

“I’m your biggest fan, I’ll follow you until you love me, papa-paparazzi”

From the line above, I instantly liked this song because it suits me.

4. SheWolf – Shakira

Nice song complemented with a really hot and sultry music video!

5. The Climb – Miley Cyrus

From the number four spot last month,I fell in love with this song as this was used in my friend’s debut. LOL. What’s good with this song is that it started very soft and sound in the beginning, but it eventually became a bit of powerful in the middle and it was sustained until the end.

6. Boom Boom Pow – Black Eyed Peas

Although this song is very popular last July, I’m not a big fan of it. The song has a catchy beat, but not as catchy like BEP’s songs before like Shut Up, etc. Nevertheless, this song was well appreciated by most of the Filipinos.

8. If U Seek Amy – Britney Spears

If U Seek Amy song of  my favorite Hollywood pop singer Britney wasn’t able to enter even for the Top 3 for the 2009 hit songs chart race. Why? Though I really love the song because of its naughtiness, it wasn’t able to catch the attention of most Filipino music lovers. Or is it because Pinoy are too innocent YET for this kind of new songs? Sheeeesh.

9. Knock You Down – Keri Hilson

Quite a nice song. Hilson is also the one who sang Superhuman with Chris Brown. So, expect this song to be quite similar with Superhuman, but I tell you, this is also a nice song to hear. LOL.

10.  3 – Britney Spears

A newly-released song off from her newest compilation of Singles album. Great and hot video and super nice song! But, it isnt really popular here in the Philippines today because this was just released last September 2009.
