Top 10 Hit Songs – November 2009 Issue
Posted on 21. Dec, 2009 by Bunsoi in Hit Songs Monthly Issue
Sorry guys for the uber late post of the 2009 Hit Songs Monthly Issue.
Anyway, the following are the songs that made it to Top 10 Hit Songs – November 2009 Issue.
1. Lady Gaga – Bad Romance
This song and its music video is ammmmaaaaazzzinggg. This song, just released October 27, 2009 has immediately caught the attention of the public. This is her first track off from her latest album The Fame: Monster which is actually just a reinvention of the album that catapulted her to global stardom, The Fame. She also performed this song in one episode of Gossip Girl Season 3.
Surely, Lady Gaga is living up to her name as she never failed us, as her fans and followers are still going gaga over her.
2. 3 – Britney Spears
A newly-released song off from her newest compilation of Singles album. Great and hot video and super nice song! But, it isnt really popular here in the Philippines today because this was just released last September 2009. This song was well-criticized also for its explicit theme, just like Britney’s If U Seek Amy song before.
3. Good Girls Go Bad – Cobra Starship
This song is very edgy and cool. Although it sounds like yet another disco song, Leighton Meester, my favorite and the one who portrays the role of Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl added a really nice blend in the song. A must-hear, friends!
4. Broken-Hearted Girl – Beyonce
Ok. You might notice that three of the songs that made it to this month’s issue are mellow songs. Why? Because the blogger himself was heart-broken LAST month. I have already recovered from a not-so painful heartbroken thing. LOL.
Anyway, for the heart-broken peeps out there, you might want to listen to Beyonce’s not-s0-new song. She exactly tells you how bad a good relationship ends. *puff* *puff*
5. Record Breaker – Sarah Geronimo
This type of song, I believe is Sarah’s FIRST. I mean, her fans are used to her songs which are of the mellow genre. I first heard this song in Sarah Geronimo’s Sunsilk commercial. At first, I didn’t recognize that Sarah herself was singing the song because I wasn’t used to Sarah singing a song of RnB genre. But, she was able to pull it off. I hope she makes songs of this type in the near future. With this song, she appeared to me as though she will become the Philippines’ Britney Spears/Rihanna/Beyonce/Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga all in one pop star. Kudos to you, Sarah!
6. Jump – Florida
Nananananana nananana. Enticing intro until the end of the song. This song was also used as the cover for the movie G-Force. Catchy tune, great music!
7. Party in the USA – Miley Cyrus
I have to admit that when I saw the music video for this song, I was a bit disappointed. Because I thought Miley would be smart enough to tell her producers to create a really party-ish like of music video for this party-ish type of song. Got the point? Nevertheless, it was still a really nice song.
8. My Love is Here – Erik Santos
Another song that I’ve been currently listening the past few weeks. My first love, who has never realized how much love I can offer. Hahayss.. Hey, don’t you know my love is here? Toink.
9. Tell Me Your Name – Christian Bautista
Here’s another hit mellow song from one of the Philippines balladeer, Christian Bautista. One thing that I love about this song is how Christian made the song appear so light and fresh. I fell in love with this song when I was trapped in an almost the same situation. Meeting someone whom I, almost fell in love with. SShh..
10. 21 Guns – Greenday
Ok. This isn’t a really new song. I first heard this song one boring and exhausting evening when I was on my way home. From the band that brought us “Wake Me Up When Septembers Ends”, Greenday now has another hit song to boot!
On the end of December 2009, I will be making a round up post for the best hit songs for the whole year of 2009.
