BunsoiMagazine Blog Update and Future Plans
Posted on 11. May, 2009 by Bunsoi in Announcement, Blogging Events
If you’ve read my Blog Performance Update last April, you know that this blog is currently doing good performance-wise based on traffic stats, comments and linkbacks BM is receiving. To date, performance is STILL improving. Let me tell you why.
BunsoiMagazine is consistently receiving an average of 500 unique hits/visits per day and an average of 900 page views per day. IF and only if, traffic stats would remain the same, BM will receive a total of 15,000 unique hits per month!
As of this writing, BunsoiMagazine shows a really impressive huge traffic growth having received a total of 13,427 unique hits and 21,342 page views according to BM’s Cpanel AWStats. Stats from Sitemeter and in-house WP Stats plug-in of BM shows not exactly the same, but similar figures.
In connection with stats, BunsoiMagazine also managed to consistently enter the Top 20 of Philippine Top Blogs. Yeeheeey!!!
Google SERP Postions
In connection with the stats, BM posts with a relatively good amount of traffic is enjoying a strong hold of positions/ranks in the Google SERPs, not only for the Philippine Datacenter, regional Google datacenters, but with the flagship Google.Com itself. Hooraaay!!
LAY-OUT/ THEME
I actually don’t have intentions of changing the theme yet since I think it’s too early. Also, finding a Google and Adsense-friendly theme is a bit difficult task. However, I’m planning to put some revisions or modifications in some parts of the lay-out. Like making BM and its layout a really magazine-looking blog. What do you usually see in a print magazine? You will soon see it here in BM. Isn’t it great?
BM being down for 2 consecutive days last April ( 16 and 17 ), traffic stats for those days were a FLAT ZERO, which also follows that my Adsense earnings for those days were FLAT ZEROs as well. But today, I’m only a couple of dollars left before I receive my very first Google Adsense earnings. Naaamoy ko na ang Western Union, haha.
I know my income is not that big compared to probloggers out there. Here’s hoping I’d reach their status in the coming months.
NOTE: If you are irritated and confused about the inconsistencies of this blog’s Adsense ads placement, please bear with me for I’m still on the stage of “experimenting” the best ads placement in this blog. Thanks.
PERSONAL SKILLS
Personal skills with respect to blogging, I must say, improved. First, I do a lot of SEO techniques with my blog posts. It’s the strategy responsible in making BM traffic growth. But with SEO, I never sacrificed the quality of the article pa rin naman.
To date, 25% percent of the articles of Bunsoi Magazine are SEO-ized and are doing good in the SERPs and almost 75 percent from the SEO-ized articles are strategically placed on the Top Spot or any where inside Page 1 of Google.Com and even in regional Google DataCenters like Google PH, Google UK, Google DE and Google JP. That’s as of this very moment based from the traffic referrals from Sitemeter.
FUTURE PLANS
Guest User Contributions
As I have announced before, BunsoiMagazine will now be open for article contributions from its readers. This is because I thought, it would be cool to read somebody else’s points/ opinions in this blog, right?
Birth of NEW Blogs
As of this writing, I already have 2 MFA or Made for Adsense blogs up and running on the WWW. However, I don’t have intentions of disclosing any specific details about it yet, kasi nakakahiya. Sobrang dami ng ads dun! haha. So, it makes sense, right? That’s why people call it Made for Adsense blogs. Come the time that it will have good traffic, I might as well declare it to the netizens out there that Bunsoi here, owns them. Curious? Keep an eye on some of the links in this blog, you just might stumble there without you even noticing it, haha.
Youth Advocacy Campaigns
I have already made a specific page for this first online advocacy of mine. See it on the page Pinoy Youth Advocacy. But it doesn’t have any content in there yet. But let me give you a brief info about it.
I’m planning to do an online advocacy among Pinoy youth which aims to inform them about the upcoming elections and the youth’s role for the elections and what we youth, can do.
It also aims to help FELLOW first time voters to be informed about the things associated in the elections. Primarily, it an online youth advocacy.
Actually, I’m launching this advocacy sometime next week on my blog.
