Top 10 Hit Songs – March 2009 Issue

The long-awaited March 2009 issue of BunsoiMagazine’s Top 10 Hit Songs chart is now out. Read on for you to catch up with the latest hit songs of 2009 and download it on iTunes or whatever legal mp3 downloading platform have you. As always, this month includes the hit songs of 2009, or should I say, the latest top hit songs of 2009 so far.

March 2009 Hit Songs

1. Love Game – Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is now officially a favorite of Bunsoi. After I have downloaded her hit song Just Dance last December 2008, it wasn’t really a bit hit yet in the Philippines. I just downloaded it because it already appeared in the Billboard Hit Charts. But today, Lady Gaga has also produced another considered 2009 hit song Poker Face, and the emerging another hit from her, Love Game. For Lady Gaga fans out there, I’m currently drafting a post which features her, that is so S-O-O-N, here on BunsoiMagazine.

2. Love Story – Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift who also sang Teardrops on my Guitar and Our Song, also has another hit song under her belt. Love Story has been ruling local hit charts like Myx Music TV. Love Story is now officially a hit in the Philippines having topped the Myx Hit Charts for several weeks now.

3. Insomnia – Craig David

I actually posted an article about Craig David’s Concert in Manila which already happened a week ago. And I was informed by a college classmate of mine that his song Insomnia is really good and that I should have an mp3 copy of it so that I instantly “favorite” it, haha. Stupid noh? Well, as my classmate said, upon listening to Insomnia, I became an instant fan of it and Craig David as well. He was able to illustrate the feeling you have when you can’t sleep at night jsut thinking about the one you like/love. And by that, I hope you know what I mean if you have already read my Bunsoi is DESPERATELY In Love With Someone.

4. Lucky – Jason Mraz feat. Colbie Caillat

Ok. Everytime I hear this song from the artists above, I always remember my friend, haha. If you happened to read this, comment below. A college classmate of mine sang this song to us when me and my friend was hanging out with each other just inside the campus. And my malicious college classmate suddenly sang the song Lucky’s chorus:

I’m lucky I’m in love with my bestfriend ….

It’s like, “Huwaaattt?” on my end. He was suspecting that there is “something” going on with me and my friend, Camille which is really not true, haha.

5. My Life Would Suck Without You – Kelly Clarkson

Why? Because I can so related with the title. My lfie *Bunsoi’s life, that is* will suck withouy YOU *from the article Desperately in love with someone*. Enough said.

6. Thinking of You – Katy Perry

From the girl who brought us two hit songs I Kissed A Girl and Hot N Cold, comes another 2009 hit song Thinking of You. I think this song is about how the girl * I assume it as Katy herself in the song * feels the pain being with the man she doesn’t really love, and the pain that lingers inside her everytime this man kiss her, hug her and yet what Katy sees, feels and hopes that the man doing those to her is her love of her life, and that is the soldier man, blah blah. haha. Trivia: Her real man in the music video of this hit song is Matt Dallas, my favorite actor from my favorite ABC Family Series Kyle XY. That’s it.

7. Poker Face – Lady Gaga

Up from being the number one hit song last February 2009 Top 10 Hit Songs article, Poker Face of Lady Gaga drops to number 7. But still, I love her and her songs. This reminds me of finishing my Lady Gaga featured post now.

8. Right Round – FloRida

Fresh from reaching the top spot of the Billboard Hit Songs Chart, FloRida descended to the 8th spot in this issue.

9. If U Seek Amy – Britney Spears

If U Seek Amy of Britney wasn’t able to enter even for the Top 5 for the 2009 hit songs chart race. Why? Though I really love the song because of its naughtiness, it wasn’t able to catch the attention of most Filipino music lovers. Or is it because Pinoy are too innocent YET for this kind of new songs? Sheeeesh.

10. Single Ladies – Beyonce

Single ladies is H-O-T. That’s the best adjective for this hit song from Beyonce. I don’t think there’s a need for me to give further details for this song since I believe everyone has already heard this song, right?

That’s it music lovers! So far, I consider the above-listed songs as the hit songs of 2009. Anyways, I’m planning of putting up a 2009 year-ender list of songs that made it to the top spot of my Top Hit Songs Monthly Series. But December 2009 is way too far yet. So, keep posted.
