TAO AWARDS should be named as KONTENG TAO AWARDS

what a crap!! haha. i don’t want to make this comment long..my point is if the school’s objective is to make known an award giving body like this what they should do is…

gather the public, put some color and taste in the event, and make it more MAKA”masa”

i agree…unless this event has not proven its attraction to ateneans, it’s not worthy to be named as a prestigious award giving body! A NILALANGAW EVENT is a USELESS EVENT! —im hoping they will improve TAO AWARDS, because this event will either improve or worsen ateneo’s name!

What’s the issue with this post? Mr. Bunsoi just posted (better term – expressed) his opinion on the recently concluded ADDU Tao Awards (which I think is not a prestigious event — also an opinion).

But I think, Mr. Bunsoi should have better expressed his opinion in a constructive manner of writing. He himself should have knw that since this is publicly published (online). He should knw too that everyone who read this is also free to express his/her opinion/comment against it. Also as a blogger (considered as an online journalist), Mr. Bunsoi must be responsible for what he published in purpose of free expression.

Just want to share to give light to everyone who posted a comment (and to those who will be posting), the freedom to express our thoughts is an important part of our individual identity. When we talk and write about our opinions we are contributing ideas and participating in society. It is crucial to the survival of democracy. Without it, we will be defeated from our PURSUIT AND DISCUSSION of TRUTH. With this statement and on the issue on this post, NO ONE IS TO BE BLAMED. Everyone deserves to express, just listen and be open and not be harsh. (Bawal ang high blood, kaya daming namamatay eh).

I will leave this quote I borrowed from Noam Chomsky:

So there no need to rebut — it will just be a waste of time.

for the organizers of the said event, i think your very much GUILTY.. (haha) peace!! i think you should not react that way if you think the event you have spearheaded was very SUCCESSFUL tlaga!! ) i mean, diba.. haha..
ok, lets look at the effort, cheers for that! BUT…

duh!!,, atleast you might learn in this blog naman noh..

you might do BETTER next time!!
