The Confessions of a Shopaholic movie is based on Sophie Kinsella’s best-selling book and stars Isla Fisher as the adorable, silly, and sassy heroine Becky Bloomwood.

Are you shopaholic? Then this movie is definitely for you. The movie will be shown on Feb 18 in theatres all over the Philippines.

I haven’t read the book yet and I actually don’t have intentions of reading it. However, I’d like to watch the Shopaholic movie because I noticed a lot of people are reading the Confessions of a Shopaholic book. Some of my friends told me that it is a good read because it is one teenager’s way of getting rid of all the shit out from love and all romance-related issues.

I digged this when I saw the movie trailer while I was watching TV. The movie trailer of Confessions of a Shopaholic can be viewed below. Watch the movie trailer so that you’d understand why I got interested in it.

It caught my attention because even, though I’m not a girl, I’m the type of person who usually goes to mall and buys new stuffs, clothes, etc when I’m on my extreme emotions. By that, I mean when I’m soooo happy or sooo sad. When I’m done doing a lot of things, I reward myself by purchasing nice clothes.. or when I’m sad. I buy new clothes to uplift my emotions, haha.

I think shopping is a nice way to release stress. Because admit it. When you buy and wear good clothes, IT MAKES YOU FEEL MORE CONFIDENT FOR YOURSELF. But I dont consider myself as a shopaholic naman.

If I am to base the Confessions of a Shopaholic movie from the movie trailer, I think this would be a big hit. Well,, err.. Not necessarily in the Philippines where the kind of shopping the actress does is not much-hyped in this third-world country. No offense meant to Pinays ha? But I do hope it does well in the box office.
