Top 10 Hit Songs – December Issue

Posted on 28. Dec, 2008 by Bunsoi in Hit Songs Monthly Issue

It’s December. Bunsoi is again releasing my monthly chart, the Top 10 Hit Songs comprising the top hit songs that’s rocking the airwaves, as well as mine. Again, the following songs made it to the Top 10 Hit Songs – December Issue of BunsoiMagazine.Com.

1. Superhuman – Chris Brown ft. Keri Hilson

This song from my favorite Chris Brown is totally awesome! My current favorite. Proof? I”ve been listening to it, like for the last few weeks. The song tells us how love affects in a good way the way we are. The way our perspective changes. Though each person listening to it has his/her own views, mine is like that. In addition, I’m in a current state of being in love with someone I know, so I guess this songs fits me well. Considering that I really feel high whenever I see the person whom I fell in love with. Here’s an excerpt from Chris Brown’s Superhuman chorus:

You changed my whole life
Don’t know what your doing to me with your love
I’m feeling all super human, you did this to me
A super human heart beats in me
Nothing can stop me here with you
Super human (I feel so superhuman X2)

2. Just Dance – Lady GaGa

This song is really amazing, and so is their music video. What makes me love this? This song has a great beat and definitely a fun song. Every time I hear this on my iPOD * Err, I mean mp4, haha*

3. TShirt – Shontelle

I learned about this song when I watched ASAP the other week. This song was performed by the so-called ASAP Beauties. They were able to perform their production number so well. You can watch it on YouTube. Going back, the music video isn’t really good. But the song will really be a good candidate for your last song syndrome.

4. Crush – David Archuleta

I know this isn’t a really new song. I used to ignore it before when my friends told me to blog about this. But because I heard it again and again on the radios while I’m in th jeepney, I learned to love it as well. Nice song: Not because I hear this over and over again, but I was able to appreciate the message of this David Archuleta Song. Like reminiscing the days when I was still on that crush2 stage. I think i’m too old to have this crush-crush thingy.

5. Rehab – Rihanna

I first heard this song when Karylle performed it as her Welcome to ASAP piece the other week. Downloaded it on Loudfusion, and really fell in love with it. One part in the lyrics that I laughed was the line

I gotta check into rehab, coz baby you’re my disease.

Funny right? No? I dont care, haha. Rihanna is indeed one of the best pop singers in her generation.

6. Who Am I – Casting Crowns

I used to hear this song everytime I go to the net cafe and is being played on their radion. At first I thought it was PDA 2nd Runner Up Bugoy Drilong who sang this one. The opening part was very similar to Bugoy’s vocals. But it turned out, obviously it was not him. I’m not really into God, Jesus Christ- related songs because I’m not a religious Christian like others, for one. But this song made me realize on reflection. Very fitting for its title Who Am I. I’ll add this next to One Way, a faith-related song.

7. I’ll Be There – Sarah Geronimo ft. Howie Dorough

Sarah Geronimo’s back with this hit single from her. After back to back concerts at the Araneta Coliseum, successful show and concert tours abroad and one blockbuster movie hit and another in the making, Sarah Geronimo is really the brightest star in her generation. Ok enough. This is supposed to be a song review, right? Haha. Going back, I dont know. But I’m sort of weird. I’m not sure if you’ll understand what I mean but everytime I listen to this song especially the chorus *I’ll be there for you” it’s background song is like uplifting my mood. Share your comments about this. Even my classmates share the same opinions everytime they hear the tune of this song.

8. Womanizer, Circus – Britney Spears

From the Top 10 Hit Songs – November Issue, Britney Spears hit comeback single Womanizer from her latest hit album Circus descended from Top 1 to Top 8. It’s not that Womanizer lost its spark to me, it still has the “IT” formula in it. Maybe, because I listen to it again and gaain on my mp4 that I was getting bored to its tune “a bit”. I mean all songs just go, right?

9. Moving Mountains – Usher

It was a few years since I last considered an Usher song a favorite of mine. His Love in This Club song didn’t really caught my ear’s attention * if that’s appropriate to say *. This ballad from one of highschool days’ favorites is a songs about how the guy broke up with someone he loved but for a good reason. He wanted to gather himself, if you know what’s that supposed to mean. This songs is good for Anne Curtis, haha.

10. Right Now – Akon

Akon is definitely one of my favorite black singers. He has the tune that no whites cant even copy. He really has his brand on his music. Not totally rock, not totally pop, not totally rnb, but a pie of it all. Which makes Right Now a perfect combination of some music genres. A must hear.

So as always. The above listed hit songs comprise my Top 10 Hit Songs – December Issue.
